Connecticut Lighting Centers recently added a new 250 square foot Hubbardton Forge gallery in our Hartford showroom. Hubbardton Forge is the oldest and largest commercial forge in the country that hand forges iron lighting. Aspiring artists and entrepreneurs George and Reed Hampton, started blacksmithing in 1974 in an old Vermont barn and became known for their innovative designs.
About Our New Hubbardton Forge Display
Our new Hubbardton Forge display is not only a collection of beautiful lighting, but a tribute to American hand forged iron that is crafted with excellence. We are proud to feature a Made in U.S.A vendor, especially one that is made right here in New England.
In this new display, you will be transported to a stunning collection that is artistic, timeless and distinctly New England. In addition to the lighting featured, there are images and information on the companies’ history, values and the people behind the iron. It truly is a unique part of our showroom.
The products featured in the display are best described as “sculptured lighting.” You will find hand-forged iron table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces, chandeliers, pendants and flush mounts. Whether you are remodeling or building a new home, or looking for that perfect accent, our new Hubbardton Forge display has an array of lighting that will transform the look of any room into a work of art.
